Denver International Airport (DEN)

Denver International Airport is one of the most visually distinctive airports in the country, famous for its tent-like roofline, mountain-framed setting, public art, and enormous physical scale. It feels less like a terminal and more like a civic monument on the plains.

DEN is known for its white peaked terminal roof, which evokes the Rocky Mountains and has become part of Colorado’s visual identity. The airport is also famous for public art and the many myths and stories that have grown around it.

The A Line rail connection links the airport with Denver Union Station. If visiting for architecture or photography, the Jeppesen Terminal exterior and public art areas are the main points of interest outside security.
