About this place
The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum preserves the legacy of the only U.S. president elected to four terms. Located on the Roosevelt family estate in Hyde Park, it connects the New Deal, World War II, Eleanor Roosevelt, and the Hudson Valley setting that shaped FDR’s public life.
Trivia
Opened in 1941, it was the first presidential library and the only one used by a sitting president.
