Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum

The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids presents Ford’s life, presidency, and Michigan roots in a visitor-facing museum setting. Its downtown riverfront location makes it the more public-facing half of the Ford presidential library system.

The Ford library and museum are separated by more than 100 miles, with the library in Ann Arbor and the museum in Ford’s hometown of Grand Rapids.

Visit the museum for exhibits and public programming. Completionists may want to visit both Ford sites to fully cover the library-and-museum system.
