Weisman Art Museum

Perched on the University of Minnesota campus, the Weisman Art Museum gives visitors one of Gehry's most accessible American museum facades. From the river side, its brushed steel forms become a compact study in movement, reflection, and campus identity.

The current museum building opened in 1993 and received a Gehry-designed expansion in 2011.

Admission is typically free, but verify current hours before visiting. The best exterior views are from the Washington Avenue Bridge and the river-facing side of the building.
